Hijama & Cupping
No. In modern clinical practice, incisions are microscopic and strictly superficial on the stratum corneum (top skin layer). Most clients report feeling only a light scratching sensation or gentle suction tingling. No permanent scars are left behind; circular marks fade completely within 3 to 7 days.
Sunnah Hijama focuses on the specific anatomical points recommended in Prophetic traditions (such as Al-Kahil on the upper back and Al-Akhda'ain on the neck), typically observed on the 17th, 19th, and 21st lunar days. Clinical Hijama focuses on specific trigger points, nerve pathways, or muscle groups to address acute or chronic symptoms (like lower back herniations, sciatica, migraines, or joint stiffness) and can be performed any day of the week.
We recommend fasting from heavy meals for 2 to 3 hours prior to your session (water and light honey drinks are encouraged). Stay well hydrated, wear loose and comfortable cotton clothing, and get a good night's rest before coming in.
Avoid taking a hot bath or shower for 12 to 24 hours to keep the treated pores protected. Postpone strenuous gym workouts, heavy weightlifting, and direct exposure to intense air-conditioning drafts for 24 hours. Drink warm liquids and allow your body to recuperate.
For preventive wellness and systemic detoxification, a session every 4 to 8 weeks is ideal. For specific therapeutic treatment plans (such as chronic tendonitis, sports injury, or persistent migraines), our doctor may recommend a series of 3 to 5 sessions spaced 2 to 3 weeks apart.
Hygiene & Safety
Absolutely never. We enforce a zero-tolerance single-use policy. Every cupping cup, surgical blade, and dressing is factory-sealed in a sterile blister pack, unsealed strictly in front of the client, and disposed of into certified medical biohazard containers immediately after the session.
Wet Hijama is contraindicated for patients with severe anemia (Hemoglobin below 9.5 g/dL), women in their first trimester of pregnancy, patients on intensive anticoagulant therapy (blood thinners) without medical clearance, active bleeding disorders (hemophilia), acute renal failure, or patients with high systemic fever.
Yes. We respect full privacy and Islamic traditions. Female clients are treated exclusively by certified, experienced female medical practitioners in fully private women's treatment suites. Male clients are treated by licensed male practitioners.
Between each patient, all examination tables are sanitized with hospital-grade disinfectants, disposable waterproof sheets are replaced, and room surfaces undergo medical sterilization. Every suite is also equipped with continuous HEPA medical-grade air filtration.
Acupuncture & Therapy
No. Acupuncture needles are hair-thin and flexible — unlike thick hypodermic injection needles. Insertion is virtually painless. Patients frequently describe feeling a mild, pleasant sensation of warmth, heaviness, or gentle pulsing, followed by profound physical relaxation.
Moxibustion is a traditional therapeutic practice where processed dried mugwort herb (Artemisia vulgaris) is warmed safely near specific acupuncture points. It warms cold joints, improves blood circulation, boosts systemic immunity, and relieves chronic stiffness.
Yes! Our Integrative Synergy package combines targeted acupuncture to release deep neuromuscular blocks followed by cupping therapy to flush localized stagnant fluids. Our doctors evaluate each patient prior to confirming combination suitability.
